Dr Ethan ROmas-Hill BVSc., Bvbiol.

Dr. Ethan Romas-Hill is an equine veterinarian with a lifelong passion for performance horses and a deep, practical understanding of their management, health, and care. He graduated from Charles Sturt University with a double degree in Veterinary Biology and Veterinary Science, moving straight into practice across both the small animal and equine sectors.
Ethan’s particular focus lies in sports medicine, podiatry, and metabolic health, areas where he combines clinical expertise with real-world experience. His background extends beyond traditional veterinary practice—he has worked in greyhound racing welfare, developed a strong interest in orthopaedic surgery for racing greyhounds, and dedicated years to studying equine podiatry under renowned mentors worldwide. Unlike many veterinarians who solely advise on hoof care, Ethan has the hands-on skills to apply and troubleshoot a wide range of corrective and therapeutic shoeing solutions, from conventional steel and aluminium to composite materials and 3D-printed prosthetics.
What sets Dr. Romas-Hill apart is his firsthand experience as an equestrian. A lifelong dressage rider, he has trained horses from young horse level through to FEI, giving him an unmatched appreciation for the demands of high-performance horse management. He understands the complexities of feeding, conditioning, and rehabilitating these animals—not just from a clinical standpoint but as someone who has lived it daily. This perspective allows him to work with clients in a truly practical and results-driven way, ensuring that both horses and their owners receive guidance that is realistic, effective, and tailored to real-world challenges.
Ethan is passionate about improving the overall standard of horse health in the region through education and empowerment. He believes in making high-quality veterinary care and specialist-level services accessible to more horse owners, helping them make informed decisions that lead to better outcomes. His reputation is built on authenticity, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to improving equine welfare—not just in theory, but in practice.
